Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Welcome to WAPDA Online Bill Check — an independent, third-party guide for checking Pakistani electricity bills. This Privacy Policy describes exactly what information this website does and does not handle. We have written it to match how the site actually works, and we update it whenever that changes.

1. Information We Do Not Collect or Store

This website has no user accounts and no database. We do not store any personally identifiable information (PII), reference numbers, CNIC data, names, or billing information.

When you type your 14-digit reference number into our bill checker and click "View My Bill", everything happens inside your own browser: we check that the number has the correct 14-digit format, copy it to your clipboard for convenience, and open the official PITC billing portal (bill.pitc.com.pk) in a new tab. The lookup itself happens directly between your browser and the official portal — your reference number is never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers.

We keep no record of whose bill was checked and have no way to tie a visitor to a specific electricity connection.

2. How Our Service Actually Works

This website is an independent bill-checking guide. Pakistan's electricity distribution companies (LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO, FESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO, and HAZECO) all serve duplicate bills through the official PITC billing system, but each provider has its own portal address. Our tool helps you pick the right provider, checks that your reference number has the correct 14-digit format, and takes you to the correct official portal where you look up your bill yourself.

The bill itself is generated and displayed by the official PITC servers (bill.pitc.com.pk) on their own website — we never see, modify, or store the billing data. When you open the portal from our site, the link uses a no-referrer policy, so the portal is not told which website you came from.

3. Analytics and Hosting Logs

This site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance (page views, country-level location, device and browser type, page-load speed). These tools are designed to be privacy-friendly: they do not use advertising cookies and do not build cross-site profiles of you.

Like virtually all web hosting, our hosting provider also processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) transiently to serve the website and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify individuals.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not currently set its own cookies and does not store your reference number or provider selection between visits. If we ever introduce preferences (for example, remembering your selected DISCO) or advertising that uses cookies, we will update this policy first.

5. Third-Party Websites We Link To

Our core service links you to official external websites — primarily the PITC billing portals (bill.pitc.com.pk), the CCMS complaint portal (ccms.pitc.com.pk), and the official DISCO corporate websites. Once you are on those websites, their own privacy policies apply. They receive your IP address as a normal part of you visiting them, and anything you enter there (including your reference number) is between you and them.

We have no access to or control over how those official systems handle data. For concerns about their handling of billing data, please contact PITC or your DISCO directly.

6. Advertising

To keep this guide free, we may in the future display contextual advertisements from third-party networks such as Google AdSense. If and when advertising is active, ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies (such as Google's advertising cookies) to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google via Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). We will keep this section updated to reflect the advertising partners actually in use — as of the date above, no third-party advertising is running on this site.

7. Children's Privacy

This website does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 — there is simply no mechanism on the site for submitting personal information to us. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Contact and Updates

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@wapdaonlinebillcheck.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in how the site works or in legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
