How to Pay Your Electricity Bill

Every payment channel that works for all Pakistani DISCOs — mobile wallets, banking apps, ATMs, and branches. All you need is your 14-digit reference number. We do not process payments ourselves.

Mobile Wallets: JazzCash & EasyPaisa

Paying via JazzCash

1. Log into the JazzCash application.

2. Tap on the "Utility Bills" icon.

3. Select "Electricity" and choose your DISCO (LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO, etc.).

4. Enter your 14-digit reference number.

5. Review the fetched amount and enter your MPIN to confirm.

Paying via EasyPaisa

1. Launch your EasyPaisa app.

2. Tap on "Bill Payment".

3. Tap on "Electricity" and select your DISCO.

4. Scan the barcode on your duplicate bill, OR enter the 14-digit reference number.

5. Tap "Pay Now" and save the receipt.

NayaPay, SadaPay, and most other licensed wallets follow the same pattern: Bill Payment → Electricity → your DISCO → 14-digit reference number.

Banking Apps, ATMs & Branches

Mobile / internet banking

All major banking apps (HBL, Meezan, UBL, Bank Alfalah, MCB, and others) have a Bill Payment section. Select Electricity → your DISCO, enter the reference number, and the payable amount is fetched via 1Link for instant payment.

ATMs

Any 1Link ATM can pay utility bills from your account. ATM flows sometimes ask for the 10-digit consumer ID instead of the 14-digit reference number — both are printed on your bill.

In person

Designated bank branches, post offices, and DISCO customer service centres accept cash payment against a printed bill. Bring the duplicate bill you downloaded from the official portal, or your reference number.

If a Payment Doesn't Show Up

  1. Wait 2–4 business days. Bank and wallet payments are settled to the DISCOs in batches; a just-paid bill often still shows "unpaid" on the portal for a few days.
  2. Keep your proof. Save the transaction ID, receipt screenshot, or stamped bill — it is your only evidence in a dispute.
  3. Money deducted, bill not credited? Contact your bank or wallet's dispute department first — the transaction is between you and them until it settles.
  4. Still unresolved? Visit your DISCO's customer service centre with the receipt and your 14-digit reference number, or lodge a complaint on the CCMS portal (ccms.pitc.com.pk) or via the 118 helpline.

This website is an independent guide only — we do not collect payments, cannot see your account, and cannot reverse or verify transactions.

Payment Questions, Answered

I paid my bill but it still shows as unpaid. What now?
Digital payments are settled in batches between banks, 1Link, and the DISCOs, and the portal status commonly takes 2–4 business days to update. Keep your payment receipt or transaction ID. If it still shows unpaid after that, contact your bank or wallet's dispute department first, then your DISCO's customer service centre with the receipt and your 14-digit reference number.
Which number do I need to pay — reference number or consumer ID?
Most wallets and banking apps accept the 14-digit reference number directly. Some 1Link-based channels (ATMs, certain apps) use the 10-digit consumer ID instead. Both are printed on your bill; when in doubt, use the 14-digit reference number.
Can I pay after the due date?
Yes, but a Late Payment Surcharge (LPS) applies, and the payable-after-due-date amount is printed on the bill. Some channels stop accepting a bill a few weeks after the due date, in which case you may need a fresh duplicate bill or to pay at a DISCO office or designated bank branch.
Is there a fee for paying through JazzCash or EasyPaisa?
Utility-bill payments through the major wallets are generally free of charges for the payer, though wallet policies can change. The amount you pay is the exact bill amount shown against your reference number.
